I created this Wiki because I wanted to have an online resource page available for teachers that included all of the informative and helpful resources that I have learned about. I hope that you find this to be useful. I plan to add more links and information as I find out about them myself. Feel free to email me with any ideas.

Google for Educators - Here, you’ll find a teacher’s guide to Google Tools for Your Classroom, as well as a number of additional tools. And to spark your imagination, you'll find examples of innovative ways that other educators are using these tools in the classroom.

Citation Machine - is an interactive web tool designed to assist high school, college, and university students, their teachers, and independent researchers in their effort to respect other people's intellectual properties.

Pi Across America - is a national celebration with the goal of improving math and science literacy among America's school children. Pi Across America encourages students of all ages to explore the wonders of pi with particular focus on the month of April, "Math Awareness Month." Free program materials for teachers and students are available online year round.

DiscoverySchool - is dedicated to making teaching and learning an exciting, rewarding adventure for students, teachers, and parents.

United Streaming - is a digital video-on-demand and online teaching service to help improve students' retention and test scores; it is aligned to U.S. state and provincial standards.

The National Library of Virtual Manipulatives - is an NSF supported project that began in 1999 to develop a library of uniquely interactive, web-based virtual manipulatives or concept tutorials, mostly in the form of Java applets, for mathematics instruction (K-12 emphasis).

NC WiseOWL - is a Website that has, as its centerpiece, several subscription databases.

AwesomeStories.com - Enjoy an interactive learning experience as you see thousands of hand-selected and relevant links to pictures, artifacts, manuscripts, documents, and other primary sources, IN CONTEXT, within each story.

Access NewspaperARCHIVE - is a new program that gives public libraries and K-12 schools around the world FREE access to NewspaperARCHIVE.com's historical newspaper database.

NetSmartz Workshop - is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) for children aged 5 to 17, parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement that uses age-appropriate, 3-D activities to teach children how to stay safer on the Internet.

Ology - means "the study of." And here on the American Museum of Natural History's Ology Website, you can study and explore many cool Ologies.

Vocabulary Training - On this site you are able to create your own tests.

AplusMath - This website was developed to help students improve their math skills interactively.

Aritm - trains you in simple mental calculation. This program teaches its users the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division tables.

Ask Dr. Math - is a question and answer service for math students and their teachers. A searchable archive is available by level and topic, as well as summaries of Frequently Asked Questions.

Cool Math - has grown to be one the the most popular sources for math education in the world.

IMO - (Interacvtive Mathematics Online) This mathematics site has tutorials in Algebra and Trigonometry and a very extensive section about Geometry.

ThinkQuest - inspires students to think, connect, create, and share. Students work in teams to build innovative and educational websites to share with the world.

FunBrain.com - An Education Site for K-8 Students and Teachers.

Scholastic.com - This site includes great teaching ideas, lesson plans, a section just for new teachers, and even has online activities.
